Priest Godsknight (Godsknight Oladipupo Jesufeekofunwa) was born on December 8, 1985 in Ijebu-Ife, Ogun State, Nigeria, into the Osifeko Royal Dynasty.

Early Musical Awakening +
His musical journey began in secondary school in the early 2000s, composing verses for gospel choruses. After 2002, he adopted the stage name HODDY DA LAKAHYANAH and began recording secular music. By 2003, he co-founded BOSSOM FRIEND with Architect Ariyo Adelagun, performing locally in Ijebu-Ife. His first studio experience involved recording over an instrumental by DMX.
Lagos Transition & Industry Entry +
Between 2003–2005, he moved to Lagos to pursue music professionally. He submitted audition materials, including for “Brothers With Voices,” but was not selected. Despite initial resistance from family regarding his academic path in Insurance (Actuarial Science), he chose music after divine intervention through his uncle Hon. Raphael Olaosebikan. He later recorded with Divine Austin (Fear Deevee Records) and gained radio play on Raypower FM and Star FM.
Performance & Academic Development +
He performed across Lagos venues including White House Ikeja, Goddis Garden Ojota, Lord’s Club Maryland, and Fendis Club Ogba. In 2005, he performed at The Polytechnic Ibadan (Eruwa campus) alongside Eddy Remedy, experiencing both breakthrough and hardship. He later gained admission into Music Technology at The Polytechnic Ibadan, where his creative expression expanded significantly.
Media Exposure & Industry Growth +
Between 2007–2008, he gained radio presence on Splash FM Ibadan with presenter Black D. He connected with Olufemi Aderibigbe (Kwame), CEO of Nigezie, gaining access to larger industry platforms. He also met artists such as Dagrin during this era of expansion in the Nigerian music scene.
Spiritual Transformation +
By 2010, he transitioned from secular music to gospel ministry, rebranding as LAKAHYANAH (4) JESUS. In 2011, he released his first gospel track “SWAGGER (4) GOD,” marking his entry into ministry music.
Media Breakthrough +
In 2012, his video “SWAGGER (4) GOD” was produced with Nigezie support and aired on Nigezie, SoundCity, and LTV. Despite financial struggles, the project became a breakthrough moment in visibility and ministry reach.
Albums & Ministry Growth +
In 2014, he released “THE MESSENGER,” a 13-track album produced by Tonycee Nelson and Waxywax. The period included financial hardship, street CD sales, and deep ministry testing. Despite challenges, his ministry expanded into churches and PFN events.
Modern Ministry & Global Reach +
In 2022, he released “FREEMAN’S ARTISTRY” and formed the live band MOST HIGH NOTES. In 2023, he collaborated with Yinka Davies on “TETE DE (Liberty Shout-out).” As of 2026, he continues releasing impactful singles including: Every Woman, Alubarika, and Let’s Play.
