Chapter One — My Origin

I was born on December 8th, 1985 in Ijebu-Ife, Ogun State, Nigeria, into the OSIFEKO ROYAL DYNASTY.

Chapter Two — The Early Sound

My journey into music began in secondary school in the early 2000s when I started composing verses for gospel choruses. After secondary school in 2002, I became a secular artist under the name “HODDY DA LAKAHYANAH.”

Chapter Three — BOSSOM FRIEND

In 2003, I formed a group called BOSSOM FRIEND with my childhood friend Architect Ariyo Adelagun. We performed at birthday events in Ijebu-Ife.

Our first recording was in Ijebu Ode on a DMX instrumental. Later, I went to Lagos for an audition Kenny Saint Best (KSB), but I was not selected.

Chapter Four — Lagos Calling

I wanted to study Insurance at UNILAG, but music changed my direction. My father resisted until Hon. Raphael Olaosebikan intervened and he allowed me pursue music.

I moved to Lagos in 2004 and started recording with Divine Austin (Fear Deevee Records). By 2005, my songs were already on Raypower FM and Star FM.

Chapter Five — Lagos Stage Life

I performed in clubs like White House (Ikeja), Goddis Garden (Ojota), Lord’s Club (Maryland), and Fendis Club (Ogba).

One of my most unforgettable moments was performing at The Polytechnic Ibadan, Eruwa campus, where after the show, I had no money to return home and survived overnight in Eruwa.

Chapter Six — The Sound Becomes Spiritual

This was the period music stopped being just performance for me — it became spiritual expression.

I transitioned into deeper creative reflection and eventually into gospel direction, where my sound began to carry more purpose.

This was where I understood: music is not just sound — it is assignment.

Chapter Seven — SWAGGER (4) GOD

In 2011, I recorded my first gospel song “SWAGGER (4) GOD”. In 2012, KWAME of Nigezie gave me access to professional production equipment.

I remember drinking garri at 5:30am before shooting a video at Apapa Waters with 12 DIGIT directing. That project later aired on Nigezie, Soundcity, and LTV.

Chapter Eight — THE MESSENGER

In 2014, I released my 13-track album “THE MESSENGER”. Despite the milestone, I faced hardship and had to sell my CDs on the streets of Lagos.

Chapter Nine — FREEMAN’S ARTISTRY

In 2022, I released “FREEMAN’S ARTISTRY” and formed my live band MOST HIGH NOTES.

In 2023, I featured Yinka Davies on “TETE DE (Liberty Shout-out)” and continued releasing music.

Chapter Ten — 2026 & NOW

As of 2026, I have released: EVERY WOMAN, ALUBARIKA, and LET’S PLAY.

My mission remains simple: to use music for the total well-being of humanity.

Thank you for reading my journey.
